Performed by OLIVIER GOTTI
Based on STEVE CRUZOR’s drawings

This Blues Comic-Concert plays the musical score of Steve Cruzor’s comic, O’Boys 3rd volume: Midnight Crossroad, projected on big screen. In the 30’s in the segregationist south of United States, Huck and William a young white male and a black slave become friends and seal their destiny with their differences.. and their passion for Blues. In the 3rd volume, you follow Huck and Suzy our two young errant protagonists, looking for their lost friends.

Adapted for show, the black and white comic is projected on stage with empty white speech bubbles. And so the land of Tennessee and its music are filled with life in the songs of Olivier Gotti and his lapsteel guitar.. Blues serving the drawings, replacing dialogues and resonating the emotion of the illustrations during 60 minutes, creating an artistic alloy to an indivisible rendering.
