Recognize as one of the signature formation of French Reggae, Broussaï sets scenes on fire all around the world for about ten years (Jamaica, Canada, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany…). The harmony with the crowd and the enthusiasm emerging from the shows are impressive, you can not be indifferent about it.
The group charmed its audience with the dynamics of its instrumentals, the fine details of the texts and the melodies and its research of kindling emotions. The 3 last studio albums ‘Perspectives’, ‘Kingston Town’ and ‘In The Street’ has been named ‘Meilleur Album Français’ aux ‘Victoires du Reggae’ in 2010, 2013 and 2016.
Always artistically moving, Broussaï advocates musical evolution in that way each album brings to the listener to a specific universe. In 2019 the group is back to the basics that made its success with an album at 100% Reggae New Roots. It is the return of acoustic and organic sounds. The new opus is an engaged album, involving environmentalism and humanism in particular.
In relation to global warming, biodiversity collapsing and mass migration the group is still aware of this thematic and put them at the forefront of its message. In the manner of many scientists and leading figures Broussaï judges a critical threshold has been attained and action is needed to support life on Earth. With this solar and activist opus, the group make a humble contribution to awareness.
Known through word of mouth, the group established itself within a few years among the most seen French groups. With more than 700 performances, in live Broussaï brings a contagious energy.
